I’m fortunate enough to serve on the Board of Directors for the incredible San Diego organization, Townspeople. Since 1984 (lots of awesome started in 1984, including me!), Townspeople has served our homeless neighbors by providing permanent housing and supportive services.
Our 40th birthday was celebrated by an incredibly generous ANONYMOUS gift facilitated by the Jewish Family Service of San Diego allowing us to purchase a single family home in San Diego to aid in our Shared Housing Initiative. What’s more, we’re so incredibly lucky to have board members who have thrived with the services Townspeople offer and serve on our Board, including Myiesha Phelps.
